Held on the sidelines of the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA), the event featured a “National Team” of 21 organisations and 9 premier medical centres, positioning Taiwan as a global leader in AI-driven healthcare resilience.

The expo presented rigorous evidence of AI's life-saving potential, highlighted by AI diagnostics deployed in 300+ hospitals across 11 countries.

Taiwan's clinical AI impact now spans continents, with advanced digital pathology systems running live in Frankfurt and Pittsburgh.

Innovation also extends into advanced oncology imaging, featuring a 3D cancer analysis tool that boasts both FDA clearance and a prestigious Mayo Clinic collaboration.

The event, themed “Chip in with TAIWAN,” leveraged Taiwan's semiconductor leadership to advocate for global health equity.

Behind all of these innovations sits a foundational national health database covering 23M+ people over 20 years, representing one of the deepest real-world evidence ecosystems anywhere.

Combined with a National Health Insurance system covering more than 99 percent of the population and a broader database of 70 billion medical records, Taiwan offers a unique ecosystem for validating next-generation AI.
