Clinical AI developer Aidoc has announced the creation of its new Diagnostic AI Consortium, with participation from some of the largest hospitals and health systems in the U.S.
The goal is to develop and adhere to shared standards for how diagnostic AI is evaluated and governed.
Aidoc will provide the consortium's technical infrastructure through CARE, its clinical AI foundation model, and aiOS, its enterprise AI operating system.
The company says the members of the consortium will work together to:
- Design AI-enabled diagnostic workflows to prioritize the right cases and deliver critical results sooner in real-world clinical settings.
- Measure impacts on safety, quality and speed to diagnosis across member health systems.
- Develop shared implementation and governance practices any health system can adopt, inside the consortium or beyond it.
