In recent years, the Tri-Service General Hospital has undergone medical resource integration and engaged in cooperation with the Industrial Technology Research Institute to provide smart healthcare services, as well as establish 5G smart operating rooms. By using smart glasses, senior medical doctors are able to conduct surgical teaching through AR and VR applications. In case of an emergency, real-time remote medical consultation and guidance can be provided, so that patients in offshore island hospitals are also granted access to high quality healthcare.
