2024 National Healthcare Quality Award

Following the implementation of the system, regional and local hospitals with fewer resources than medical centers can effectively address the challenge of faculty shortages. It enhances trainees’ learning experiences in simulation-based training, ensuring that all participants remain synchronized within the same timeline. This synchronization allows team members to better understand each other’s roles, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and mutual support, which in turn significantly improves their critical and emergency care capabilities. As a result, the overall quality of critical care delivery is enhanced, while the pressure associated with providing emergency and critical care is effectively reduced for team members.
