Innovative XR (Extended Reality) Training System for Decision- Making and Health Education Tools – Training through Interactive Games, Removing Doctor-Patient Communication Barriers

To implement the shared decision making, the hospital has developed the smart system by using XR for tools that aid in the shared decision-making process and medical education. The system allows the patient, family members and medical personnel to experience the condition in the virtual world personally. By collecting the feedback through the VR experience, the medical personnel can focus on the point that the patient doesn’t understand and provide appropriate assistance to enhance the doctor-patient communication. In terms of training, the system can add some interesting and lively VR content to make it more fascinating, further enhancing the learning motivation of trainees to learn actively.
