Ditmanson Medical Foundation Chia-Yi Christian Hospital
"Nursing records navigation system" is a tool for nurses reading patients' medical records and shift handovers. The system is based on the patient focused method (PFM) and shift handover tracks. The single-page user interface connects different systems as a nursing record map. It presents patients' nursing problems, current status and allows users to query details and edit shift notes.
The purposes to introduce the system are : (1) to simplify the search process by establishing patient-centered nursing information maps, (2) to improve shift handover efficiency by standardizing the patients' information display, and (3) to improve communication among the interdisciplinary team.
