Chi Mei Medical Center
The hospital uses medical big data as the foundation and deep learning algorithms to established three types of emergency pneumonia prediction models, including sepsis, respiratory failure, and death. The models were integrated with the emergency care information system, creating the first interactive function for simulating pneumonia progression and automatically and continuously monitors patients' condition via IoT. This provides a basis for emergency and critical care medical teams to make clinical decisions.
