This hospital not only builds a next-generation seamless digital pathology system, but also harnesses AI assistance to reduce false negatives. The digital pathology workflow allowed us to achieve remote pathology consultation, establish online slide reviews, increase the efficiency of multidisciplinary team conferences, and build a huge digital slide database. They also successfully innovated artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted interpretation modules, including nasopharyngeal cancer identification, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer lymph node metastasis detection, renal glomerular detection, and the counting module for HER2 fluorescence in situ hybridization
