Based on literature and expert opinions, the hospital's emergency department identified prognostic factors and used 10 years of emergency medical records from three hospital districts to establish an AI algorithm to predict the condition of hyperglycemic crisis in the emergency department: sepsis or septic shock, ICU admission, and death. We selected the optimal model for software implementation and integrated it into the emergency department information system to assist clinical decision-making.
