 Patient safety goals

📍Promote teamwork and effective communication

📍Cultivate patient safety, boost institutional resilience, and handle incidents effectively

📍Improve doctor-patient communication and encourage patients and their families to participate in patient safety work

The system is built upon three main aspects, including hemodialysis case management, real-time monitoring, and risk prediction for hypotension during dialysis:

  1. Case management: The system develops dialysis treatment plans, electronic dialysis care assessment, and data visualization. Integration of the hospital information system (HIS) enables effective real-time case management, making up for the drawbacks of using paper documents.
  2. Real-time monitoring: The system uploads patients' physiological information, test results, weight, and other relevant data to the cloud in real-time, and helps visualize dry weight, pre- and post- dialysis weight, and blood pressure parameters during dialysis in trend charts.
  3. Risk prediction for hypotension during dialysis: The system has been developed based on big data algorithms. For high-risk patients, this system automatically sends alerts to medical teams. By leveraging the smart decision support system, the parameters of dialysis machines can be adjusted to minimize the risk of hypotension occurrence during dialysis, thereby improving hemodialysis patient safety.
