Therefore, to improve the predictive accuracy of sepsis, this project developed a sepsis machine learning prediction system in collaboration with Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital and Asus AI R&D Center to continuously predict emergency room patients in real-time, improving the care and prognosis of sepsis patients.

Through this project, the number of sepsis diagnoses has increased, and the emergency room stay and examination time of sepsis patients have significantly decreased, resulting in a reduction in the mortality rate. In addition, it was found that the sepsis prediction system's classification differences were significantly correlated with the trends of SOFA and shock index used in current guidelines. Other prognostic indicators, also showed significant differences.
