2022 World Patient Safety Day Webinar

Location:Live stream

About this event

"Patient safety” is the underlying belief as well as the goal in the promotion of quality medical care. Healthcare teams constantly seek solutions for improvement during clinical operation to help boost patient safety. Since 2019, September 17 has been designated by the World Health Organization as “World Patient Safety Day”, which emphasizes that no one should be harmed while seeking medical care. In order to fulfill patient safety priorities with utmost efficacy, governments around the world have set their patient safety goals, strategies, and practices and applied innovative information and communication technology-assisted medical care procedures, which help provide patients with safer medical care settings.

Health Smart Taiwan (HST), the innovative integrative platform operated by the Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT), is holding a series of forums on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day on topics such as “medication safety”, “Safe maternal and newborn care”, “surgical safety”, and “innovative medical care education”, among others, with the hope of bringing important and key influential factors on patient safety to the attention of healthcare leaders and to provide practical approaches that ensure safety. International experts from Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific Region are invited to share the practical clinical care procedures they have designed to ensure patient safety. Together with global partners in medical care, we can all create a safe and reliable care environment. We welcome you to join us!
