Digital Revolution of Hospital Medicine based on the Electronic Board – Clinic Information System of Integrated Medicine The solution is accomplished by the team composed of the attending physicians, nurse practitioners, project managers and electronics engineers of NTUH CIM. That is, the system is developed by the front health care workers and practiced by clinic physicians and nurse practitioners. Here, the ward management is thought as a science, and the operation procedures and interface logic is incessantly improved based on the introduced concept of procedure reconstruction. The system integrates the management of hospitalized patients and develops the web-serviced electronic board first. It can not only show the real-time ward status through the network, but also present the priority of bed transfer, discharge plan within 1 week in the future and status of attending physicians and nurse practitioners. All beds are directly connected to the patient database in the backend. Moreover, it also presents bed arrangement of attending physicians and nurse practitioners, and integrates the working schedule and bed arrangement of nursing personnel. It establishes the fundament of further ward communication system. The system includes the major features as follows : 1. Graphic Interface: The system provides icons or buttons for user operations and the hyperlinks for automatic database connection to enhance the data correctness. According to the graphic indicators or brief instructions, users can complete required functions with touch panel. It increases the convenience of user operations significantly. 2. Real-time statistical analysis: Based on the complete service records and quantification data, the system can efficiently present the health care performance through the service quantity statistics and tendency charts, process the statistical analysis depended on the service items and support the drawing functions.
