Clinic Information System of Hospital Medicine: Providing integrated and innovative medical services and enhancing the service and management efficiency In 2010, NTHU CIM constructed the Ward Central Electronic Board and Clinic Information System of Integrated Medicine which shall be the creation around the world. The major feature of the integrated medical platform is to provide the delicate, user-friendly and efficient interface based on the electronic board set in the center of wards to support the patient- oriented medical treatments. The system integrates existing information systems and optimizes the procedures. Through brief operation modes, the health care workers can communicate with each other easily and promote their interactions. All related health care workers can comprehend and management the patient status with various devices in the medical system everywhere. The information platform assists the clinic personnel to support the medical treatments, seamless handover medical treatments and joint healthcare of various professionalism for hospitalized patients. Therefore, it helps to reduce the period of hospitalization and raise the hospital efficiency. In addition, the digital service quantity can be the references to improve management improvement, to enhance the ward service quality and image and to provide complete information services for hospitalized patients for stronger medical quality culture. The system is not only referred by many domestic medical centers arranging representatives to NTUH, but also promoted to all departments of NTUH. In 2017, the system has been set up in all HTUH wards. The complete system solution can provide the integrated and innovative medical services, strengthen the management and integrated applications of information communication technology and raise the service and management efficiency.
