Mercy Hospital adopts bedside terminal platform which represents a step-change from the features provided by the more traditional in-room television.
The bedside terminal platform is part of their wider adoption of an EMR system. It supports patient engagement through features including telehealth, on-demand patient education, patient information, electronic meal ordering, patient communications and entertainment. It also enable clinicians to access their patients' care plans and medical records at the bedside.
