Japanese health care equipment maker Omron is moving to develop the Indian market for electrocardiographs, offering the devices as rentals to individuals via a Singapore-based startup it has invested in that provides remote medical services to heart patients.Omron, with the cooperation of Indian medical institutions, will rent out electrocardiographs to patients at risk for heart disease -- such as those who have undergone arrhythmia surgery in the past -- as well as those who request the devices.
