Municipal officials just rolled out the state-of-the-art Mobile Health Services van, equipped with the latest healthcare technologies. It will enable convenient delivery of vital of services to residents in their neighborhoods and local communities.
The climate-controlled, 27-foot Ford E450 medical unit is equipped with two examination areas, able to provide general medicine and nursing services; and it is equipped with handicap access and an outdoor awning for complete service. It will be staffed by Health Department medical professionals and nurses.
The mobile medical unit will also offer free children’s back-to-school physicals in the fall, and visit public schools throughout the year to provide preventative health and educational services.
