Ocutrx Unveils New DigiLoupes XR Headset for Medical and Surgical Applications

Updated

Designed to replace traditional analog medical loupes (tools that are used by medical professionals to enhance their ability to visualize what cannot be seen by the naked eye),  XR Headset provide surgeons with digital and extended reality (XR) features, including both surgical and preoperative imaging views, magnification, and digital equipment readouts.

XR Headset  pancake lenses were used since they provide high-quality optics in a compact package, allowing for the headset to be smaller and lighter, whilst still offering surgeons full peripheral vision and high-quality imagery.

The headset also features tilt-up capability and see-around displays, offering surgeons a comprehensive and complete overview of a surgical site and surrounding area. Additionally, the programmable and wireless DigiLoupes foot pedal features adjustable magnification, variable illumination, adjustable brightness, saturation adjustment, and enhanced contrast control.
