Taiwan is looking to deepen cooperation with Malaysia in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven smart systems, low-carbon sustainability solutions, and smart healthcare innovation, says Taiwan External Trade Development Council (Taitra) president and CEO Simon Wang.
Taiwan Expo 2025, which is being held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from June 23 to 25, is in its eighth edition in Malaysia and is the largest to date. Organised by Taitra and Taiwan’s International Trade Administration, the expo features five key themes: smart manufacturing, health and wellness, smart lifestyles, environmental sustainability, and culture and tourism.
AI remains the central highlight, with companies such as Phison, Touché Solutions, DeepXray and Nuwa Robotics presenting cutting-edge technology in storage, synthetic skin, cancer screening and education.
