  • 63% of respondents report AI is integrated into at least one workflow; 52% across multiple departments; 45% have established AI governance or ethical frameworks.

  • Fragmented data is considered a bigger obstacle than staff shortages, model transparency, or budget constraints.

  • AI can reduce document processing time by up to 40%, especially when embedded in core systems linked to coding and revenue workflows.

  • AI applications focus on high-frequency processes: workflow automation (52%), document support (46%), appointment and access management (41%), and revenue cycle automation (38%).
