Diagnostic accuracy is the determinant for healthcare quality and patient safety. With the advances in medical technology, healthcare became complex, difficult and dangerous. To increase accuracy in clinical diagnosis, the clinical reasoning education became very important, while challenging. Teaching medical decision-making should target not only the diagnosis itself, but also the reasoning process, concerning medical knowledge, knowledge structure and problem-solving strategies those are applied. The traditional pedagogies of clinical reasoning are considered either expensive or ineffective. The innovated V-DxM is to increase Trainees’ learning motivation and their competency on clinical decision making.
