【HSINCHU, TAIWAN – July 16, 2026】 Bio Asia Taiwan 2026 officially opened today. ACE Biotek, a leader in biomedical automation, has partnered with National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) to showcase the "Smart Medical Sensing and AI Diagnostic Collaborative Platform." Developed by Professor Cheng-Shan Yang's research team from NTNU's Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, this innovative platform drives digital transformation by seamlessly integrating optoelectronics, AI, and clinical medicine.

The grand opening was graced by several heavyweight VIPs from academia, government, and industry, including Dr. Tzong-Lin Yang, Deputy Vice President for Research and Development at National Taiwan University; Dr. Chong-Jen Yu, Superintendent of National Taiwan University Hospital; Dr. Cheng-Fa Yang, Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology; Dr. Hwa-Dong Liu, Director of the Industry-Academia Cooperation and Innovation Incubation Center at National Taiwan Normal University; and Dr. Tai-Horng Young, Director General of the Department of Life Sciences at the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). During the guided tours, the delegation highly praised ACE Biotek’s automated solutions, particularly emphasizing their capacity to accelerate GMP pharmaceutical production lines and clinical precision testing, thereby setting a new paradigm for digital manufacturing.

The joint exhibition highlights a seamless value chain: Terahertz (THz) technology enables real-time, non-destructive testing for pharmaceutical tablets, while the UniiForm system digitizes handwritten forms to ensure absolute Data Integrity. Additionally, as a premier system integrator for Universal Robots (UR) and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), ACE Biotek demonstrated an advanced trackless, automated logistics workflow within a smart laboratory environment, optimizing operational efficiency in sterile or high-risk settings.

During the event, ACE Biotek's expert team hosted key presentations to address industry pain points: Marketing Manager Mark Tsai addressed smart medical market opportunities; Engineering Manager Cheng-Chun Cheng explored collaborative automation in biomedical scenarios; and Marketing Manager Jenny Lin discussed non-destructive testing technologies for pharmaceutical applications.

This powerful alliance between ACE Biotek and NTNU highlights the immense potential of industry-academia collaboration, injecting strong momentum into global precision medicine and smart manufacturing.
