Information
This case was developed after 38 meetings, with a total of 214 people and 367 person-hours. This basic life-saving technique app is used with an exclusive lightweight mold (Aron). The relevant features are as follows:
1. Lightweight, easy to carry, and storable.
2. Real-time monitoring the depth and speed of compressions, and presenting with visual images.
3. It has a metronome function for training to enhance the user's sensitivity to compression speed.
4. Students can become familiar with the use process of the automated external defibrillator(AED).
5. When the student's compression quality is poor, the App screen will instantly turn red, allowing the coach to see the performance of all students at a glance.
6. After the exercise, the performance chart of the current exercise will be displayed immediately, and the evaluation items include calling/calling, Depth, Speed, CCF, Oxygen, and AED.
Benefits
It can improve the shortcomings of traditional teaching aids (Annie) that are large in size, heavy in weight, high in purchase cost (including Anne, AED and consumables), and difficult to store.
During the training process, students can use the BLS App to do exercises with exclusive molds in advance to improve the overall practice efficiency. Before the formal test, they can use Annie to do the final 1~2 exercises, which can effectively use different teaching aid attributes to achieve in line with the government's goal of universal CPR. This achievement won the Bronze Award at the 2023 Annual Medical Innovation Center CIC Achievements Presentation of our hospital.
